Maridea Expands Midwest Presence With Strategic Acquisition of Pinnacle Wealth Management

Green Sail Capital Partners served as the exclusive sell-side advisor to Pinnacle Wealth Management in its strategic acquisition by Maridea Wealth Management. The transaction, announced in July 2025, marks Maridea’s first entry into the Chicago market. Pinnacle, a high-net-worth advisory firm founded in 1994 and led by veteran advisor Brian Sheehy, had been previously affiliated with LPL Financial before transitioning to Maridea’s independent RIA platform. The deal positions the Pinnacle team to leverage Maridea’s national resources, institutional backing, and entrepreneurial culture to enhance the client experience and capture new growth opportunities across the Midwest.
